A province blessed with abundant natural resources, Davao del Norte takes pride in its waterfalls, rivers, caves, islands, and mountains as its prime destinations for tourists.
Kapalong, a municipality long known for its numerous caves offers yet another adventure activity in Barangay Gupitan – canyoneering at the 155-foot Tagtugonan Falls.
To get there, it takes around 40 minutes from Kapalong town proper in Barangay Maniki to Barangay Gupitan.
A short hike from the bridge, where you can park your vehicles, to the falls takes another 15-20 minutes.
For bookings and queries, please coordinate with the Kapalong Tourism Office ahead of time so that they can inform you of all the basic requirements, such as required outfits, assignment of eco-guides, and payment of necessary fees. (PR)
