An agreement was formally signed between the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) and Ateneo De Davao University (ADDU) for the implementation of the “Our Bangsamoro: Living and Learning Together in Peace and Fraternity” Project.
Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr. of OPAPP and ADDU President Fr. Joel Taborra, S.J. led the signing of the agreement on Thursday, November 4.
The project is a collaborative effort between the OPAPP and ADDU to promote the principles of the Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together document.
The document was signed by Pope Francis of the Catholic Church and the Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmad Al Tayyeb in February 2019.
The project will contribute to the national government’s peacebuilding efforts through interfaith and intra-faith channels and the operationalization of Executive Order No. 570 on Mainstreaming Peace Education. (PR)
